All over. I'm really eclectic when it comes to shopping, if you can't tell. I try to avoid mainstream stores, but you never know what you're going to find. The trick's to be picky. But I'm guessing you really didn't want a whole lecture on this, did you?
Um. That's actually a sort of touchy subject. I did. For a long time. But the feelings never went both ways and well, we're better off friends. Much better.
Okay, who wants to know? But answer to this question would be a no. I met this guy here, a computer hacker by the name of Riley Poole, and we've been together for a long time now and I love him.
Pretty cool. A lot better than any of the Kryptonians that we've met back home. I think you'll be good for Clark.
Um, that's another long story there. It mostly has to do with the fact that when he's around red kryptonite, he goes through this whole sort of personality swap, and he tends to use the name Kal when he's, well, under the influence. It's not a good thing. At all.
Well, at least I know I won't have to hold a shotgun wedding. I kid, I kid. And the guy who wanted to know is...I'm protecting him my withholding his name, because you'd probably eat him or something. He's harmless, though, I swear.
...We'll see if I am.
And with the Kal thing...see, but it's still his name. It's just...Clark is his human name, and I get that, but Kal is his...I don't want to say 'real' because it'll probably bug you, so it's his Kryptonian name, and we're Kryptonian. And I get the whole bad association thing, but it's just that, you know. It'd be like if you just stopped using your last name because your dad pissed you off. The rest of the family is still probably kind of attached to you, right? So, I just...I don't know. We'll figure it out.
Okay, seriously, who is this guy? The suspense is killing me, Kara.
I think it's different with Clark though. I mean my Clark. He's gone by that name for so long that it is his real one to him. Kal's just this name given to him by this man who's sort of only made his life much more difficult and yeah. I'm guessing the whole Lois Lane, prized reporter, isn't the only major difference between our 'verses.
...Boomer aka Captain Boomerang II. But he's supposed to be dead, so keep that to yourself, okay?
My Clark was raised on Earth too, but he still lets me call him Kal. And I think I might need to talk to your Clark about Krypton, because, you know...it's where we came from and he seems to have a lot of issues with that, and...I mean, even if he didn't grow up there, I did. So.
Ooookay. Captain Boomerang the Second? Where'd this guy even get his name? But um, guessing that he's a superhero, I'm flattered really.
Yeah, I get that. I guess a talk with Clark might be the best approach to all this. Good luck, though. That guy can be as thick as a lead wall sometimes.

Date: 2007-04-04 03:27 am (UTC)Did you or do you have a crush on my cousin?
Um, I didn't actually want to bring this up? But my friend wants to know if you're single. So, are you?
I'm also totally sort of vain, so, what do you think of me?
Why doesn't Clark like being called Kal? It's his name.
