What he is, however, is wandering around, looking at her room, picking up objects, for want of something to do with his hands while she's way over there. He picks up the picture of them, studying it (his eyes are closed and Chloe's arm is in the corner of the picture from where she's holding out the camera, but she's happy and beautiful), and he smiles again. "You know, I forgot you took this."
